Speech Therapy
Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital provides a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for speech, language, swallowing, voice and fluency disorders. We offer speech/language therapy geared to children as well as pre-school speech and language skills screening.
A speech therapist can help a child who may be struggling in their language or speech development, which may be affecting their learning or academic progress. He or she can also help a child who is having problems with speech sound production or is experiencing voice difficulties, such as hoarseness or hypernasality or fluency (stuttering) problems.
