Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital’s Rehabilitative Services is Lake County’s most comprehensive and accessible offering of specialized rehabilitative services provided by licensed physical and occupational therapists.

Our individualized therapy regimens — developed in close collaboration with your personal physician — focus on returning you safely and quickly to your specific occupational, recreational, athletic or other daily activities.

Highly Trained Physical & Occupational Therapists

Our staff of physical and occupational therapists is fundamental to the work we do.  Fully licensed and certified, our therapists are experts in working with you for general therapy or within one of our specialty programs.  In fact, many of our therapists have certifications and specialized training in their area of expertise.

Physical therapists treat individuals with physical dysfunction due to disease or injury, or they help prevent injuries from occurring (i.e. athletic preparation), using treatment techniques that promote the ability to move, reduce pain and prevent disability.

Occupational therapists help individuals learn or re-learn the fine motor skills that can give them independence in everyday life.
