Clinical Professional Nursing Ladder Program
The Clinical Professional Nursing Ladder Program at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital has been developed in order to promote professional development and advancement. Nurses who aspire to advance from Clinical II to Clinical III are required to complete an evidence-based project to enhance their practice environment and/or clinical care.
Each Ladder candidate is assigned a mentor, who is Masters-prepared and a member of the Nursing Professional Leadership Council. Using the Iowa Model of Evidence Based Practice, the mentor guides and supports the candidate through the process of project development and implementation.
