Lake Forest Hospital Wound Center Names Program Director

Lake Forest, Il. – Anne O. Craft, a health care development and policy executive with more than 18 years of experience, has been named program director at Lake Forest Hospital Wound Center at Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, which is scheduled to open in August.

Located at 900 N. Westmoreland Road, the center will specialize in the treatment of chronic wounds and non-responsive conditions. Created in partnership with National Healing Corporation, one of the nation's largest wound care management companies, it will offer hospital-based outpatient wound care as well as disease management and diabetes care.

As program director, Craft will be responsible for all aspects of the center’s operation including ensuring quality patient care, recruiting and hiring, compliance with federal and state guidelines, budgeting and fiscal policies, and marketing and sales.

A resident of Saint Charles, Craft most recently served as practice manager with the department of surgery at DuPage Medical Group.

After receiving a bachelor of science degree in health care administration from Southwest Texas State University, Craft earned a master of science degree in management and organizational development from Benedictine University in Lisle.

Lake Forest Hospital Wound Center will have leading-edge hyperbaric oxygen chambers which surround the patient with 100 percent oxygen at higher than normal atmospheric pressure to increase the amount of oxygen in the blood and promote healing from the inside out. The center will also offer highly specialized treatments including bio-engineered skin substitutes, biological and biosynthetic dressings, and growth factor therapies.
