Giving to Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital
As a nonprofit hospital, Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital relies on the generosity of donors to provide the highest quality health care organization for our community. Our hospital was founded in 1899 as Alice Home on the Lake Forest College campus with a gift from Mrs. Henry Durand, a local philanthropist and wife of the president of the college. Since then, a strong tradition of giving has been a constant thread in our history.
Today your gift matters—more than ever before. Independent, nonprofit community hospitals like ours cannot survive without charitable support. No hospital can be vested in the community as we are; nor can they match our commitment to personalized medicine, without the generous contributions of our donors.
