Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat)

The otolaryngology specialists at Lake Forest Hospital are board-certified physicians trained in the latest treatment of head and neck diseases and disorders that affect the ear, nose and throat (ENT). These specialists treat a variety of medical problems, from cancers of the head and neck to sinus disease and tonsillitis, to the repair of deviated septums. They also surgically place vagal nerve stimulators to provide some relief from seizure disorders.

Our Sleep Disorders Lab can diagnose a wide variety of sleep disorders such as sleep apnea. Patients stay overnight for EEG sleep studies that monitor breathing, brain activity, heart rate and other involuntary bodily functions during sleep.  Based on the detailed diagnosis, specialists then develop an effective treatment plan aimed at getting a good night’s sleep.
