Mental Health
While the focus is often on the physical affects of illness and injury, a trauma, diagnosis or health crisis can also impact you and your family emotionally and spiritually. Living well is about being healthy mind, body and soul. Seeking emotional and spiritual help as well as physical is an important part of a complete recovery or coping strategy for patients and their families.
At Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, compassionate caregivers offer patients and their families healing through counseling, education, support groups and pastoral care. We also have a chapel in the hospital for private worship. Members of our pastoral care staff are available to assist or counsel you, whatever your religious tradition. For additional information about our counseling and social work services, please call (847) 535-6445, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. For information about pastoral care, please call (847) 535-6070.
We offer a variety of appointment times to best fit our patient's busy schedules. Please call to determine the best appointment time for you.
