CareCoach

Helping mothers ensure their families get access to preventative care and valuable health education is at the heart of our mobile CareCoach service. Children and adults who are uninsured or don’t have access to, or perhaps can’t get to, important health care services, like screenings and immunizations, can get free, local access via CareCoach—Lake Forest Hospital's mobile health unit. The CareCoach has been reaching the under-served population in the county since 1999.

Thanks to very generous philanthropic support, CareCoach takes free health services and educational programs on the road to a variety of community locations all year long. A number of retail establishments, as well as organizations such as county senior centers, village halls and others, are among CareCoach's regular monthly visit sites. Its services include screenings, counseling with a registered nurse, immunizations and referrals to physicians if needed.
