CareCoach

Lake Forest Hospital's Mobile Health Unit, known as the CareCoach, has been reaching the medically under-served population in our area since 1999. This service provides vital health care outreach to men, women and children of all ages.

Thanks to generous support from donors, our CareCoach takes its free health services and educational programs on the road to 25 community locations each month. A number of food pantries, librairies, schools and local businesses are among the CareCoach's regular monthly visit sites. The CareCoach also attends and supports local community and civic events.

Services provided by our registered nurse include screenings, counseling with a registered nurse, immunizations and referrals to physicians if needed.
